Oh Deer!

This morning my father looked out the window and saw a bald eagle soar over the field. I ran out with the camera, but the eagle was gone. He was quite surprised when I came back with these pictures instead! :D

They step so daintily, but they eat the garden up like there is no tomorrow. They have been demolishing my yucca, yew and hollies. Argh!

Oh that's not good! :( So far I haven't had a problem with them in my garden, although a moose ate all my broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower last summer!

Thank you! Oh yes, moose love broccoli, and apparently other brassicas too! It is a big crop up here (along with potatoes) and it's not uncommon to see several moose grazing in a broccoli field!
