My father and I went looking for a good view of Mt. Katahdin this morning. It was magnificent! I have wanted to climb this mountain since the first time I saw it, but haven't had a chance yet. Someday, I will! 😊

Maine is such a wonderful place. My husband always said he could breathe better once he crossed into Maine.

The air is nice and fresh here! 😊 Maine is almost paradise in the summer, but we in the northern part of the state have had a hard winter this year.

Nice view of the first place the sun hits in the US! Maybe this will be the year you get to climb it. :)

That mountain looks magnificent but rather daunting. So you are a mountain climber, too?

It is quite a climb from what I have read and heard. I actually haven't climbed any mountains yet, but really want to. I even used to dream of climbing Mt. Everest someday, but am not quite that adventurous anymore!

That's one big mountain. Hope y9u do get to climb it. The view from the top will be awesome.

I don't know how you get around with all that snow.

We have had an exceptionally warm winter here in north central Fl. It got cool last night and today but will be back to very warm soon. We had one day of 85° a week ago. Have been running the air conditioning some. I dread summer. I know you are looking forward to it. Can't wait to see your flowers this year.

Yes the views from the top are just incredible...I've looked at lots of pictures. 😁 I'm interested in the plants that grow there too. There are alpine and even arctic wildflowers on the mountain that don't grow anywhere else in the state!
I don't blame you for not looking forward to a FL summer. 85 is just about as hot as it ever gets up here...once in a while we have a few days of 90s.
