New Family Members!

It is almost two years since my beloved cat Stripe passed away. We had him for almost 17 years...since he was a tiny kitten and I was only 6!  He was the family cat but the two of us had a very special bond. I've missed him every single day.

For a long time I wasn't sure I wanted another cat, but lately I've been missing having a feline friend around, although no cat could ever take his place. So, when my father told me that some friends were looking for a home for their kittens, I decided to take them in! These little ones have stolen my heart already. They are so sweet and playful and love to explore. They've just been getting used to all the new sights and sounds today (we brought them home last night) but now they are settling in very well and I do believe they have adopted me as their mommy! They have been following me all over the house and getting in my lap every time I sit down...and showing considerable jealousy when I try to read!!  😃  We think they may be part Bengal as their markings are a bit different from a typical tabby.

Meet Nastya and Olga...

I love them so much! ❤

Congratulations! They are adorable! I think it's great that they follow you around, I love that trait in a cat. :)

Thank you! I love all cats but especially those who like to follow you around and be held, so I am glad these do. 😊 They are quite the little beggars too...I've never seen cats that would sit up and beg for food like a dog but they do, without having been taught...and if they don't get what they want they jump on the table and try to take it off my plate! Olga is learning to play the piano. Wow, it's only been 2 days and I could already tell so many stories! 😃

So sweet. It's so nice you have a couple so they can play and keep each other company. There is nothing like having a cat in the home. Enjoy!

Yes they are pretty inseparable...they snuggle up together a lot, and of course they do lots of wrestling! 😁

They do have the markings of a Bengal cat. They look like my "Tootsie" looked. I lived her and she got stomach cancer and I had to put her to sleep. Sure miss her. I have had cats all my life but none now. She was my last.

Oh I'm so sorry Veleria. 😢 I know just how you must feel. We love our pets like they are our children and they don't live long enough! Maybe one day you will decide to get another...
