A Visitor

A Visitor in Marl --
Who influences Flowers --
Till they are orderly as Busts --
And Elegant — as Glass --
Picture
Who visits in the Night--
And just before the Sun--
             Concludes his glistening interview--
                Caresses—and is gone--
Picture
But whom his fingers touched--
And where his feet have run--
And whatsoever Mouth he kissed--
Is as it had not been—

OK, hopefully that's my last poetical illustration...for a little while anyway!  😊

How lovely! Poetry and photographs!

No frost here yet in Washington state, but we are finally receiving some more fall rain.

Glad you are finally getting some rain! Hopefully that means you can get back into the woods again! 😊

Definitely. Not all trails are open yet, but enough to keep the soul happy.

Glad you like it 😊My head is stuffed full of poetry lately since I've been reading Shakespeare, Longfellow, and Dickinson--almost at the same time! Lol

Once again, beautiful words and images. I almost envy your frost. We had a surge of heat today - over 80 degrees.
